This build is based primarily around equipment available from the 10th Anniversary Bundle with a few additional pieces. It's designed as more of a template for players who might own the 10th Bundle and not much else to get into PvP in a build that isn't a standard beam damage role.
Of course, players who have unlocked different traits and consoles may structure their build differently but this is a great starting point for anyone to get into PvP, and the same build could be largely ported over into intel ships like the Scryer, Sommerville, or even the Daemosh or Annorax with a few tweaks - and the addition of useful intel powers on those platforms.
The key to this build is the ability to lay down a lot of slows and drain effects, along with the annoying affect on enemy recharge timers from the red gravity wells. PLOT Armor is the primary source of healing, but that's only active for 15 seconds and down for 30 - so it's good practice for timing other heals or ways to prevent damage during that downtime, and in this case it is supplemented by Fleet Embassy Hull-Repair consoles - but more aggressive players might choose to use other options depending on the situation.
